Hi,

My name is Lori. I have a beautiful 1 year old little girl and we had a miscarriage 2 months ago. I am cleared to start trying to get pregnant again but I am certainly more nervous this time around. I am trying to get used to this site and connect with other moms that may be in similar situations and may have advise on how to stay calm and not as nervous!

    Welcome! I'm sorry about your loss.

    I hear the Loss Boards are fab. There is a TTC after a loss board. I'm sure you'll get lots of good info from the gals there.

    Welcome!  We lost our first at 12w.  I'm now almost 33 weeks and I would be lying if I said everything didn't worry me or freak me out.  Even this far along I wonder if things are going OK (they are!), and I don't think that nervousness will go away until he's born.  Like PP said, the loss boards are great and you'll find that just about everyone on every board is really helpful!

    Hi Lori,

    I was in the same position as you :) I have a 4 year old & I lost a baby last February at 6 weeks. My boyfriend & I had been trying since November to get pregnant and in early February of this year I was waiting for my period to come so I could just get back on birth control, basically giving up at the moment. Well, my period never came and I am 8 weeks pregnant right now!

     It is hard not to be nervous, and I am still nervous right now. I want to be out of the first trimester already... Hell I want it to be October already! Try to keep your focus on resting & things of that nature. Hope all goes well!!
