aching ribs?

This sounds so crazy, I know! But my ribs (the underside) are aching. This happened to me with my last pregnancy but not until at least 20 weeks. I have the same aches in my rib cage but I am only 5 weeks. Before it was because there was not enough room and my uterus was pushing up on the bottom of my ribs.

Anyone else know what I am talking about and/or have it this early?

Yep I had that around 5-6 weeks. It went away after I had a chiropractic adjustment and started sleeping with a pillow between my knees.

i had this with my first pregnacny as well...it started around 20 weeks..by 23 weeks i remember being in complete agony...my twin sister had the same thing and we were just discussing how horrible the rib pain during pregnancy can be. I hope you feel better soon. Im sorry you are experiencing this:(

I had it about 2 weeks ago and it is just now starting to go away. I only had it on my left side and I was convinced that my spleen had ruptured or something. The doctor told me it was something to do with rib arthritis caused by things being pushed up. I thought she was crazy, but that is what she said.

So i'm not the only one...i told DH last night that i think i broke a rib because my left side ribs were hurting! He laughed! Glad to know i'm not the only one!
