I think i have a...(tmi) UPDATE

OK so i went to L&D on base today and after 4 hrs of walking around trying to figure stuff out doing paperwork, and doing the pee test.... Come to find out i DO have a UTI and they gave me meds. By the time we left the medical center i was literally peeing every time i passed a bathroom, and it was a trickle trickle and hurt so freaking bad my eyes were watering from the pain. and now im sore from the toilet paper. I cant even wipe anymore, i have to dab, and it still friggin hurts!!!!!

 

this sucks, hopefully these antibiotics kick in soon.

 

OH i also got an appt for tomorrow out of the whole thing too! so thats a plus!

    that sucks but at least you have an answer and a solution.

    I don't wipe pee...I dab.

    i havent been able to wipe since i was 18 wks because i pee too many times a day it was starting to hurt

    You should go to the drugstore and pick up some Uristat. It doesn't cure the UTI but it relieves the pain. It will make you feel so much better until the antibiotics kick in.

    Hopefully the meds start working ASAP! UTI's are no fun! I cant imagine having one while pg. So sorry!

    Oh how I hate those things!

    Get some Azo from the drugstores it will relieve the stinging, or you could try a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water (its gross I know) but it will cut down the acidity of your urine while you wait for the antibiotics to kick in. Hope it clears up quickly!
