Marlowe has been crawling since 7 months and started pulling up shortly therafter. She cruises on the the furniture all the time, but when I get her to grab onto my fingers so I can help her walk, she just plops right down...EVERY SINGLE TIME! She can stand on her own for about 30 seconds at a time so I'll sit far enough away to encourage her to take a step, but she just leans toward me so I have to catch her.
I don't really get concerned about too much, and I'm definitely not pushing her to walk. Has anyone else's kid done this, or should I be concerned?
Re: M will not walk with assistance
definitely not anything to be concerned about. Alec would never walk with assistance--he actually never crawled. He would barely cruise, and decided to start walking at 16 months. All kids are different. Aerin wanted to walk with assistance and took her first steps at her first birthday party.
