Got my hair done-not happy NBR

So, I was so excited to get my hair done, I went in yesterday and $180.00 later i have a cut and color.

I liked it all day yesterday and now I look in the mirror and it looks really brassy to me.  Do I go in and have it fixed?  I feel really bad but it was so expensive I want it done right.  I don't think it is the color she chose to put in, I think it is under processed...kind of like I did it at home or something.

I am oddly, REALLY upset about this-why?

  • For that much money, I'd be upset too. I'd at least call and talk to the stylist. Maybe post-partum hormones do something that causes the hair not to accept color correctly or something? I know there is some impact on the hair.

My stylist would absolutely fix it for me free-of-charge, because she's fabulous.

  • Definitely call and talk to them.  Most of the time they are very nice and will help you out.  I have gotten highlights done by the same guy for 10 years...and once in a great while he will miss a piece and I run in and get it fixed.

  • Go get it fixed. The longer you wait the worse it will look and the more upset you will become over the cost. Most stylists have no problem doing the odd touch up.

  • I would definitely go get it fixed and they should do it for you for free. If it is because it is too brassy then it should be a pretty easy, quick fix.

And you are upset because it is your hair and you paid $180 for it. I got my haircut while PG and it turned out horrible and I had to go back in to get it fixed. I couldn't live with it like that.

  • If it's too brassy, they should be able to put some toner on it and get the brassiness out without you having to sit there for hours and have them re-do the entire thing.  I'd definitely go back, even though it's a pain in the arse.

  • I agree, get it fixed! I do't know any hair dresser that wouldn't be happy to do it.
