I have to admit, LOVE Ikea. DH and I drive down there often, even if its just to walk around and not really buy anyting.
Well, with this baby we have to budget big time on furniture. Especially with the unexpected financial situations we have been having. We could easily get a crib there for like, $70.
I have never heard anything bad about their cribs, other than they are sometimes not the cutest things ever.
What are your opinions?
BTW. The only thing I would DEFF buy somewhere else is the mattress. (With appropriate dimensions of course.) I was not even comfortable with purchasing a mattress for my bed from them. I am not sure why.

Ikea cribs get awesome reviews in Baby Bargains!
This. It sounds like they are definitely decent quality. I say save money where you can!
Depending on a few things I could add or subtract,
I could furnish the baby room for 250-800 bucks.
Not including bedding or decorative stuff. But I would probably slowly purchase that as our baby shows personality. (and as we get more money!)
My ultimate wish is just to have the space for the babies own room, to be able to really make it a nursery.

This is kinda the drawing board for a boy.
I don't have any experience with IKEA cribs, but I did want to mention that when we replaced our kiddo's crib recently (we had a mini crib before) we went with the Graco Lauren crib, it's $139 at Walmart and we paid 97 cents to get it delivered to our door. We're really happy with it, we got the cherry finish and it's really pretty, and sturdy/better quality than we expected for that price. They sell the Lauren at BRU as well if you want to see it in person, but Walmart was much cheaper. Just another suggestion for an inexpensive crib!
We have the Ikea Leksvik crib and love it. It is sturdy, looks nice, doesn't weigh a ton (which is great when you'r searching for binks that baby has thrown behind. I think it was like, $120. We bought a matching dresser in the as-is section and use it as a changing table as well.
Between Ikea, clearance, coupons, and garage sales we spent less than $500 on Lucy's nursery furniture and bedding.
