BTDT Moms - if your 1st was late, was 2nd late?

I was just wondering for those moms that have 2+ kids... if your 1st was late... were your 2nd/3rd late as well?

I am just curious because at my last MW appt, i mentioned I was hoping this one was going to be early and she said that my 1st was late... so more than likely this one would be late...

Not me personally but my SIL went 10 days early with No 2 and had to be induced with No 1

I'm SO hoping this is me. I was induced with my DD1 at 41 weeks and she took 3 days to come out.

No idea for me yet, but my SIL was 3 weeks early with #1 and was induced on her due date with #2.

My doc said the same thing to me because my DD was 6 days late. This is my 2nd, and as of today, we are 3 days late and still counting...

#1 was induced at 41 wks.

#2 came on his own at 37.5 weeks.

Fingers crossed that #3 will be here soon!

I am curious about this too as I was a week late with DS. But my Dr says "babies come when they come" and there is no pattern to late/early babies.

My mother's first (me) was 3.5 weeks late, her second (my sister) was a few weeks EARLY. I don't see why there would be some sort of corellation between length of first pregnancy and length of subsequent pregnancies, since every pregnancy is different.

Not sure yet for me because I was induced at 40w3d with DS, and I am only 39w today. But if anything, most 2nd time moms I know go earlier. However, I don't think there's actually a correlation. Babies will come when they come.
