Let me start by saying that normally I love Undercover Boss. But last night's episode with Mayor Mallory kind of underwhelmed me. First off, his dreads and fat suit cracked me up. He rode along with a guy who picks up dead animals, worked at a kids after school center, worked with a city mechanic and walked around with a parking meter maid. I don't know - it just wasn't very exciting TV. I kept thinking -- how cool it would be if he rode with a police officer or went on a run with a fire fighter but DH made a good point - since he had to go undercover in Cincinnati, people would have probably recognized him in those lines of work. Hence why he picked more low key areas to job shadow in. I did like how he gifted everyone $ at the end (always tears me up when they help the hard workers) but overall, the show was just ehhh. Cincinnati was portrayed well but I didn't come away thinking it was the best episode ever.
Your thoughts?
