Medela pump question (freestyle)

For those who have the Freestyle pump, what other storage bottles work with the Medela pump? Or is it best to just buy extra Medela ones for pumping while at work?

Re: Medela pump question (freestyle)

  • I asked a friend about this who currently uses the pump. She said it really will depend on how much you pump. Some people will only product 3oz while others may pump 8oz+. She said until you know this, it will be difficult to determine. She can get through a day with the bottles/freezer pack included, but also does not produce very much. As a tentative plan, I registered for the Lansinoh Milk Storage Bags and will pump into the bottles and them dump into the storage bags as needed. I read the reviews on Amazaon and it seems the Lansinoh ones seal better than the Medela ones

  • Thanks! I registered for the Lansinoh bags too. I guess if it's milk I want to freeze I can transfer it into them and if it's milk I want to refrigerate, I can just transfer into whatever bottles we decide to go with.
