i just made rolls for DH's lunch sandwiches this week and it was so much fun I'm saving so much money making bread instead of buying it or cereal for breakfast! plus, it's better for you and your house smells like baking bread!! (that might just be better than CC, no offense, squeaky!)
I have one that my mom picked up from thrift shop she volunteers at (they just throw away electronic donations because they don't want to deal with them!). It works great. I don't get to use it as much as I'd like right now because of staying with family and my MIL is afraid of carbs.... But, when we move again it will be getting very used and loved.
Re: Do you have a breadmaker?
yes- I have the same brand that is much older and it is great.

We have a much simpler model than that one and love it.
I would look on Amazon for that model and see how people rate it.
