so gross - pompilio's last night

i have been craving pompilio's soooo bad for the past couple weeks, so yesterday i dug out my certificates i purchased on restaurants.com and we went.  i was sooo excited!

first, we had the artichoke dip, which i love there and it was good.  then my chicken and cheese tortellini san luci came and after eating several bites, i saw a hair in it.  i thought to myself "oh i hope it's mine" but no such luck - what i saw was only the beginning of the hair.  i fished it out with my fork and the thing was embedded deep down in the tortellini, so obviously it didn't belong to me.  bleh! 

our waitress saw me pulling it out before i even said anything and was really apologetic.  i wasn't mad or anything, i know that it could happen anywhere and i've always had a good experience at pompilio's.  she takes my plate away and brings me a new dish boxed up to take home (since my appetite for the evening had been effectively ruined).  i get the box out for lunch today and i am so not kidding you, ANOTHER HAIR!  this one looked like an eye last, which repulses me even more.  so gross!

    That is disgusting.  I totally can't do hair.  It just grosses me out.

    i didn't call b/c i can't really ask for a refund though since i paid with a restaurants.com certificate, and i don't want another hairy meal.  besides anytime i make a phone call dd wakes up from her nap, and i'm too busy nesting for her to wake up, lol.

    Ew! Maybe the cook is a new mom going through postpartum hair loss like me. ;-)

    I'd still call later and ask for a gift certificate to come back another time. One hair incident can be understood, but two? Come on!
