I just realized that A. we're not registered to vote yet but B. I don't think we even can register yet cuz we haven't changed our DL's to IL, they're still in MN.
Anyone know if we'll still be able to?
Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever! Expecting again after IVF
And with the delivery trifecra of one twin vaginal, one c-section with general anesthesia for twin B, Spencer and Sidney joined us at 35 weeks exactly on June 18.
thanks ladies! i can't believe how fast the election has crept up on us!

The law's vary state to state. I know in my current state and the last state I lived in you could register at the polls the day of the election. You need photo ID and proof of current residence (i.e. a utility bill). You don't need a DL from the state you are living in. Check to see if your state has similar laws. Just do a simple online search on your county and/or state's website.
You don't need an IL driver's license to register to vote in IL. DH has lived here over 5 years and still has a Texas license, but he's voted here since 2004. However, you may be past the point where you can register, but I'm not positive, I know that Cook County had a lot of loopholes for late registration. Check out this site:
