(Sorry I'm such a PW today.. guess I'm making up for yesterday when I was having withdraws!)
Soooo.. in the TTC Check-In I mentioned that the hub and I are considering jumping back on the wagon next cycle but I am still a little conflicted about this breast situation. Should we suck it up and just wait to see if I will need surgery in December.. or run with the dr saying it wouldn't be the end of the world if we "accidentally" got pregnant before then? Is it a big risk to leave it in there during pregnancy, or should we go with the surgeon saying "chances are" we'd be fine??
Anyway.. I just got an email from early-pregnancy-tests.com saying they are having an October sale.
Is that a sign????
Re: Is this a sign?
Definitely! Here's another sign for ya:
*do it!* *do it!* *do it!*
Beck- that is too funny. I say it's definitely a sign.
Rssn- That sign is disturbing. She only has 1 leg! That is a leg, right?
LMFAO!! And on that note, I need to go get some sleep. I work tonight!
Maybe she's squeezing her legs together so baby isn't born on an inauspicious day *winking at Beck*?
And she's been decapitated!
Beck, you know you want to... My vote is to go for it, especially given that they said it wasn't as bad as they initially thought and may not even need surgery!
I walk away for a few minutes to eat - and come back to this awesome string of responses.
I am cracking up at you guys!
She's totally squeezing her legs shut.. and yeah, what's up with her head being detached? Where did you find that picture???
LOL?

The world wide interwebz. I love them.
I am having trouble getting past the fact that the pic's neck is as see-through as her womb-skin.
Anyway. . .I think the email must be a sign. I look for signs, too--like the little kid that randomly walked over and said "hi!" to me when I was shopping for OPKs this past weekend--clearly a sign that I'll get pg this cycle.
I say go for it!
Why not just take a totally relaxed approach to your next cycle? I know, easier said than done, right? But you could do the whole "not trying but not avoiding." Just have lots of fun.
Good luck!!!
i don't think it's a sign. just wait until december.
WHAT? ARE YOU KIDDING? Come on, now, you shouldn't even need to ask. Now, go get busy (no pun intended).
My heart sank a little when I started to read this.. LOL.
I felt the need to post about it because I worried that it might be selfish, or childish even, to not wait til December to find out for sure. I didn't know if my judgement was clouded by the desperation (for lack of a better word) to get KTFU. I braced myself to hear that we should wait but have been excited to read everyone's responses! When I started reading yours I thought you must just be the ONE person brave enough to tell me the hard truth so I'm glad to see you agree with me (and everyone else).
I'm glad to see I'm not crazy for wanting back in the game.

Exactly what were you searching for when you found that Rssn? Decapitated, one legged pregnant woman with see-through tummy?
I agree Beck, definitely a sign! The surgeon himself said it was okay and he is the expert!

Nah- it'd be selfish for you to try if your dr. had specifically told you not to (which, by the way, my endocrinologist told us to try to not...didn't help). BUT, if you have your dr saying that it wouldn't be the end of the world, go for it!
How did you know??
I agree that you could go for it and just take a relaxed approach. That way, you won't feel like you aren't TTC and you might get a happy surprise.
BTW, I can email my MIL for you if you want to know a surgeon's opinion about getting pg and having surgery like that. She is a breast cancer surgeon. deejaymimi at yahoo
