I can't decide between the following Oneida designs for a serving-for-12 set. We're looking for something that could be used when we have company. Which one(s) is/are your favorite? TIA!!
I like the idea of the style for the first, but those forks look HUGE. Are they really that big? The tines look as wide as the spoons!
I think the second ones are pretty, but I dislike flatware that has edges (like the handles that taper to points where they attach here) since food tends to get stuck there.
The third one is very simple, very classic, and will go with regular or fancier china so it got my vote!
Yeah, I was leaning towards C but then I saw the original price of B was $1200 and it was making me want B!! (Does that ever happen to you?!?) Actually out of the 3, B is currently more expensive by $100 but given that it was originally so much more, it felt like a steal...also this alternative view pic of C:
started to sway me...but maybe I should save the $100 and just get C =P
Re: NBR: Help me pick out our flatware!
I voted for the third one.

I agree. I like that it's somehow both modern and classic at the same time.
me too.
I'm going to be the voice of dissent and go with #1. #3 is too classic and not modern enough for me.
disclaimer: we own #1. i LOVE them - the styling, the heft, everything. and the forks work just fine
