I got married today!

I wore whatever was clean, reasonably nice, and fit over my belly.  We just went to the marin county courthouse, nothing special.  I feel a bit guilty that we didn't make a huge deal over it, but really, standing in front of a bunch of people while doing something emotional and (to me) private while by definition all attention is on ME is, well, a nightmare.  I am just not a wedding person, I guess.

    It's cool. For a while, Tim and I debated eloping if/when we got pregnant. Bummer - I had the day off and could have driven, like 20 minutes, to be a witness and put a flower in your hand and snap a picture.

    I'm not a wedding person either, but I love the idea of being a pretty, girly bride.

    Congratulations!   How exciting!

    Don't worry about not making a huge deal over it.  You did what was right for you.  DH and I felt the same way bout having a bunch of people there paying attention to us so we just went to Vegas.  We didn't tell anyone we were getting married until after all was said and done...even our parents.

    It was your wedding, your way. I think it's special because you didn't get caught up in the planning and the dress and the EVENT like so many people do. It was about what you wanted. I think it sounds perfectly lovely. Congratulations.

    That's cool, congrats! My husband's cousin did the same thing when she was pregnant. She didn't want her unborn daughter to be born out of wedlock so they just went over to city hall and did it. Go celebrate! :)
    Me: 44 DH: 42. DS born healthy at 40 weeks 8/24/09. TTC since then with no luck or ART. Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.
