After seeing a lot of this recently, I figured I'd pass this along to all the moms out there, just incase you haven't heard of it yourself. There have been a lot of ads, and news stories lately about Paxil causing birth defects in children, who's mother's took Paxil while pregnant. Ranging from heart and lung issues, and worse...
If you have taken Paxil while pregnant, and your child was born with health issues, you should seek advice from a lawyer immediately.
Re: Paxil users, reports of birth defeats, read this immediately!
Can someone explain how this works to me...
If a pregnant woman takes Paxil, Zoloft, Prozac or whatever and is told prior to taking it that it can cause birth defects or worse but she decides with her doctor that the risk of depression is worse than taking the medicine how can she sue or be apart of a class action lawsuit?
The FDA rates them C, there are warnings printed on the bottle and most people should know that medicines can not be tested on pregnant women.
I took Zoloft while pregnant and breastfeeding and my OB and Psychiatrist made the risks very clear to me. They even had specialist in the delivery room for my son so they could check him.
I guess I don't understand the entire practice of suing drug companies.
