Prozac and BFing?

I HATE the fact that all they can say about Prozac's effect on the baby while BFing is that is doesn't SEEM to have any negative effects.  I just began taking it for anxiety (I was on it before I got PG- LO is 6 weeks old) and the fact that it is not technically 100% safe while BFing is enough to make me want to switch to formula so I don;t have added anxiety over what it might to do my son.  Anyone else taking Prozac while breastfeeding?

    How many MG are you on? I was pregnant and breasfed DS for almost two years all while on a small dose of Prozac, 10mg. I did a ton of research and spoke to two doctors that both said a small dose of Prozac will not hard baby. They told me the signs to watch out for: extreme crankiness, colic,low birth weight. I didn't experience a single one of these issues. DS was born happy and healthy, 9 pounds 9 ounces. He weaned completely normally without issue. If you are concerned, I would lower your dose of Prozac and see how it goes.
