Well girls, contract is signed
Woot! They signed it. I signed it. DH signed it.
I am really going to do this surrogacy. like for realz.
I'm so excited. I just had to share. Our tentative date for transfer is April 1 or April 8th. They're closed on the 25th which is more in tune with my cycle so they're sticking me on bcp for a while. (groan) We scrambled to get the contract finalized and signed today because CD 1 could be tomorrow or any of the following days. We'd hate to be out another cycle just because of paperwork.
So glad that part is over and I can focus on the next part of the journey.
Okay, so I'm cutting out my beloved Pepsi. What else can I do to "healthy up" in the next month or so? I'll be doing acupuncture the day before transfer. What else?

Yes. :: deep breath :: One.
Lots of factors were considered. I spoke to my own RE, my OB, researched stats on twins, stats on pregnancies, stats on AMA IVF, everything. This feels like the best decision right now and I will re-evaluate going forward if needed.

EEK! How exciting for all of you! I never, ever imagined (though I hoped) when I shared their blog a few months back that anyone I "knew" would offer such an incredible gift and end up being a match.
I am thinking so many good thoughts for all of you. I hope things go as smooth as can be! My transfer with Eliza was April 8th - my hubby's bday. It is a good day and it means a holiday baby - what an awesome gift!

I "know" K from another TTTC board and I had the opportunity to travel to meet them at their home last summer for a GTG, but didn't feel ready to leave Eliza. Hopefully, someday though! That's right - I knew your girls were holiday babes.
