TMI altert..again today

So yesterday I got  weird period like feeling when i stood up...like i just got my period...it was a brownish discharge in my panty liner...it cant really tell if it's goopy or not b/c the liner did it's job and absorbed it...again today I stoof up, same feeling, when to the br and there it was again...it has a funky odor too...should I call the doc or could this just be my mucas plug..would it come out gradually like this?  Anything else this may be?

    did you have an internal lately? i spot after the dr checks my cervix. sorry, i'm no help on the mucus plug.

    It's probably your mucus plug.  I wouldn't worry to much.

    my internal was on Tuesday...and nothing after that this happened yesterday and today.

    My guess is that it's your mucus plug, too. Mine has been coming out over the last few days. It was clear but I know they can be brownish/pinkish and still be normal. I'm not sure about the funky smell, though. I think they are supposed to be odorless. In the last month my discharge has been smelling a little different. Has yours? Could it be that?
