PTing while running errands?

So we are on about day 5 of pting with DD and she is doing great! No accidents at all the last 2 days so she has been wearing underwear but now today we have to go out and run some errands so i am wondering what to do if we are in the car or store and she needs to go potty? Do i put a pull-up on her while we are out since we are still eraly in the process or just pull over or let her use the store bathroom? thanks!

    We are also on day 5 of training and going out for errands this morning.  My plan is to have her use the potty right before we leave and then take my small baby bjorn potty in the car.   I am going to stick with the underwear and not introduce pull-ups.  I also plan on taking along extra clothes and underwear in the diaper bag.  GL!

    Use the store bathroom.  Putting pull-ups back on is not going to help your child.  If your child is afraid of public restrooms, keep a travel potty in the car or bring a potty ring for the public one.  This sounds gross but with my DD#2, I sometimes stand behind her, so over the toilet, and hold her.  It made her feel more secure in the beginning.  She does better now and as long as she either has a stool (swim class and gymnastics keep them in the bathrooms) or she can see me, she is fine.  I typically kneel down in front of her and sort of hold her if she seems unsure of herself.  The toilets at daycare are low to the ground but the normal size so she is used to the size but the height freaks her out some.  My DD has been in undies since Tuesday with no accidents and she was in pull-ups for a week before we moved to undies with no accidents.  She was a hard to train and I would say it was a good 8 month process as she refused to go if anyone suggested it, it had to be all her idea hence why we had her in pull-ups vs diapers for that whole time - so she could go on her own when she wanted.  Now that she decided she is ready - it has not been issue at all.

    We have DD go right before we leave and as soon as we get home, but I always make sure we are going somewhere that has a public bathroom. I also note where the bathroom is just in case we need to make a run to the potty.
