Just a little disappointed

I had plans to meet an old coworker (& close friend) for lunch today with DD.  We had to meet during her lunch hour.  I tried to leave in plenty of time but everytime I tried to leave something happened.  DD needed 3 diaper changes, yes three.  Then she screamed bloody murder in the car... too much to handle.  So I brought her back inside and fed her (she's been eating like a mad woman today... i think she's in a growth spurt).  Now it's too late for us to drive over there and meet her.  I'm so bummed.

  • I remember going through this with dd too. It was like I had to get ready two hours before I had to leave Just yesterday we went to gymnastics and I spent all morning getting ready and then all of the sudden it was time to go and we were late! What the heck!?

  • Story of my life since DD was born. I've always been the most punctual person, I always got to anything at least 15 minutes early, but now I can hardly get anywhere on time!

Now that I've started pumping life will be a little easier I hope, so I can finish getting me ready while DH feeds her or something, but we'll see!
