Tell me about...Serious TMI Alert

the bloody show and losing the mucous plug.  What are they like?  Is there blood involved (dumb ? perhaps).

    I don't think this is TMI, we are all pregnant and are should go through this (or at least hope to)....I can't help ya though, I am wondering the same thing. I thought I had lost my MP but I could have been wrong since I don't know much about it.

    The mucus plug doesn't have to have blood in it, it's just gooey, stringy, whitey, yellowy gross gob of goo!  There can be blood involved, but not for everyone.

    I think I lost some of my last night and it was two really thick clumps of discharge then this morning I had a bunch more discharge like last night but it had blood in it.

    good question... is it possible to lose a little bit at a time? I think I might be starting to lose mine if thats even possible

    I've been losing mine over the last week. It can come out in "pieces." at first it was not bloody but my OB stripped my membranes on Wed and it has been bloody since then. There was more mucus than I expected! I wasn't sure if I would know, but it is pretty hard to miss once it is really coming out!
