So yesterday at my appointment, my doctor checked me and I'm only a fingertip. She then went on to tell us that it's really no big deal because it can change so quickly (already knew that one), and to go home and have sex three times a night. My husbands eyes lit up because we haven't had sex in.......months! Then, as she's still checking me she comments on how incredibly low my baby is. She was amazed. Then, she looks at my husband and says "if you have sex, you'll feel how low she is!"

He about died. He said, "I'll be able to FEEL her?" She said, "well, yeah..through tissue!"

OMG. Thank you for ruining any part of that for me!

Haha. If my OB even suggested having sex right now, I might laugh in his face. The last time we tried was miserable and I have absolutely no desire to have sex right now. Poor DH.

My dr. did the same thing- he told DH he could feel her head when he was checking to see if I was dilated. I knew I wouldn't be one of those using sex to 'get things started' after that!! They really should know better than to say something like that!!

Makes me glad DH doesn't go to my appts! Although I'm not sure that would turn him off either since he'll be missing out for so long after LO gets here

Oh.Em.Gee.

Yeah she just did the female equivilent of cockblocking you lol! My DH is afraid he is going to break my water if we have sex, so he won't until I am 39 weeks lol. Little does he know I plan on seducing him tomorrow morning hahaha!

Bwahahaha, what the heck?! That would most likely freak out 99% of the husbands out there! And why did she say to have sex THREE times a night?! DH is lucky if we have it three times a week (and even then, I know that's a lot for most pregnant women). What a funny story!

I want it so bad, and my husband won't even think of it. He said he's already mentally put himself in the zone to not want it for awhile since I won't be able to after the baby is born. He's also freaked out by the fact that his son's head is down there.
