Our friend's DS is turning one next month and we need to get him a present. Here's the catch though...they're moving to Germany this summer (July-ish). I'd like to get him something that may help keep him occupied on such a long flight, and obviously small enough to pack on the plane. He'll be about 15 months when they move. We didn't really do any long-distance traveling with DS at that age, so I'm kind of stumped. Any ideas?
Re: Need a birthday gift idea!
Things that would work on a plane with my DD (who is 13 months):
Travel Magna Doodle/Aqua Doodle (I don't have one but I would think it is fairly small but interesting. The pen is attached, so you wouldn't lose that.)
Nesting cups always work on planes for us (we nest them, build them and they don't take up much room)
Baby Einstein DVD (I never make this recommendation, but for long trips in cars or planes this works like magic for my LO.)
Spinner wand (Again not something we use very often, but for plane rides and church, this does the trick without being noisy.)
