AW: I can wear my wedding rings again!

OK, I know most of you are probably thinking "So, what?" and some of you, "Seriously, chubbs? You couldn't get 'em on before now?" but this is a HUGE deal for me.

I had to stop wearing my rings really early on in my pregnancy - I think I was about 11/12 weeks along, so I haven't worn them in over a year (I have a larger substitute ring I've been wearing). It was a combination of baby weight and water retention - I retain water so badly that sometimes even before I was pregnant, I had to remove my rings when I was on my period because my hands bloat like crazy. They're also the first place I see any weight gain - my rings get snug well before my clothes do.

Anyway, I still have the big awful stomach and that makes it hard to tell sometimes if I'm losing weight because I have to wear a size up in clothes to fit it, but this means I've definitely lost weight! Woohoo!

P.S. I think most of the weight I've lost has been since the boys started table food. I credit this to the Accidentally On Purpose Diet: once the boys started on table food, I didn't make anything extra for them, just took their portions from my serving. Voila! Instant diet! Stick out tongue

Good for you! Weight loss is a complete work in progress! Especially when you have kids. Your stomach will take more time, think about having TWO babies in there! It took my stomach about a yr before it looked even like it semi did before having Bella and then bam, pregnant again! (remind me of that when I complain of my stomach after having this little man!) I can't imagine mine will ever look the same after this pregnancy, it's so much bigger! Just think of the progress you've made and your boys aren't even a yr old yet, way to go Lisa!

I'm about to have to stop wearing my rings because my hands keep swelling off and on and it makes me nervous, I'd hate to have them cut off!! It's sad, I've worn them every day since I got them

That's awesome!

I JUST had to take my rings off about a week or so ago, it makes me sad I can't wait to be able to put rings back on. Congrats to wearing your pretty sparkly ring again!
