  • I loved "Birthing from Within." I even took it as my birth class.

  • I personally don't like any of the WTEWYE books (too much fear mongering), but I loved Birthing from Within.  

    If you have more time The Thinking Woman's Guide to a Better Birth and  Ina Mae's Guide to Childbirth

    I was at Barnes & Noble. They didn't have many labor/delivery/birthing books at all. Mostly the WTEWYE books (I bought the food one because i gained 40 lbs in the second half of my pregnancy with DD and she was born 3lb 9oz and I needed a little kick in the pants...i'm actually not liking it so far but i'm going to stick it out), a LOT of pregnancy journals and a lot of books for dad.
