Since it's obviously disappointing, to say the least, when your period starts, is there anything you do to make yourself feel a little better? It can't be anything too expensive, since we have the pleasure of greeting so many cd1s. That would really add up. And although a glass of wine sounds good, it's only noon here. I don't want really want to head down that road, haha.
Do you have a ritual? Something you always do to make yourself feel better? Maybe a pedicure? Thanks to the advice of my therapist, I've been allowing myself to get hopeful about TTC again and so the disappointment is even more bitter. I need something to soothe my soul, but I don't have any bright ideas. Wanna help a sistah out?
Re: What do you do for a CD1 pick-me-up?

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
Because I feel like crap emotionally and physically, CD was always my 'free' day. No exercise unless a yoga class or walking the dog actually sounded good, and a dinner of whatever I wanted (and usually got DH to cook).
However, I'm 20+ pounds heavier than when I started so yeah... maybe my plan isn't the best.

On CD1 I do whatever the fvck I want. Sometimes it's drink myself stupid, sometimes it's eat a cheeseburger, sometimes it's go ride my horse when I "should" be doing something else.
Do whatever makes you feel good!
