Worried about DH...vent

He is the type that stresses alot in general.. So add a baby to that, and there is already alot of added stress.. To top it off, people at his work are getting laid off (he is an electirian, and things have slowed down alot this month...)  He hasn't been laid off yet, but I know he is worried it will happen.  So yesterday is when 2 of the workers got laid off and when he got home, he started looking for a new job, which really would be better anyway for him to get a new one.  But he barely held our son, and he was talking about how we can't get a moment without the baby crying (this was during dinner and LO started fussing a bit) but then he corrected himself saying LO really is good and doesn't cry much at all.  I know he is just really stressed about work and after he took a 3 hour nap, we talked and had some sexy time (a few weeks early.. not quite to my 6 weeks..but all went well ) and he seemed better.  He did hold LO and I heared him saying "I really do love you" to him.  I know this is all prolly stress, but I hate seeing him so down/and worried.. I really hope things blow over quick with his work.. or he finds a new job stat. 

Oh yea, and to top it off, we aren't sleeping in the same room.. Not b/c we are having issues or anything, but so he can sleep.  I am feeding LO every 3 hours at night, and DH really needs his rest.. I just kinda miss him...just a vent..

    I'm so sorry to hear that things aren't going well at your DH's work. I hope he can find something else soon and hopefully it will be even better. I totally feel your pain sleeping in separate rooms, DH and I haven't slept together since DS was born :( I take the day shift and he takes the night shift in the living room. I hope things change for both of us soon! Good luck and hang in there, things will get so much better.
