Xavier Zachariha came 3 1/2 weeks early....

So my baby shower was Sunday... And went into labor on Monday... I woke up at 7 a.m. after literally 2 hrs of sleep.I was dreaming I was swimming in a pool... Well I woke up in a pool. My water had broke and I was soaked... I wasn't sure that it was my water though. I kept thinking maybe I peed the bed. So off to the hospital we went with a thrown together bag because I thought I still had plenty of time... By the time I got to the hospital (an hour after my water breaking) my contractions were 3-4 min apart. I went for 9.5 hrs with no pain meds but finally gave in... All together labor was 17 hrs with 3-4 hrs of pushing.... I was so scared of how he was going to be because they say premature white boys usually have the hardest time with respiratory problems... So they brought in a NICU nurse to be safe... Well Xavier was perfect. He was 6lbs 13oz and 20 inches long. He scored a 9 and a 10 on his apgar test which the nurses was was really impressive... (10 is a perfect score)... We brought him home today and he is doing wonderfully...

Labor really wasn't bad. In between pushes the doctor and my husband were telling jokes and it was a wonderful experience... I couldn't be any happier..
