until what age do/did you swaddle?

DS loves his swaddle, but he's recently really discovered his hands/sucking his thumb & fingers/etc. i'm almost wondering if it's time to stop swaddling him. he's 11 weeks now, and does still have the startle reflex (which can sometimes wake him up). thoughts or tips?

We started a one arm swaddle at 5 months, both arms out at 6 months

We're still swaddling even though DS has been really into his hands lately. He just sleeps better that way. We use the escape proof swaddle method to keep him from breaking out of it now. I plan on swaddling until he loses that startle reflex.

Our pedi said we should stop at 2 months [not sure why?] but we stopped at 3 weeks because he kept escaping everything! Swaddle me blankets, Halo sleepsack w/swaddler, miracle blanket, and of course, just regular swaddles [including the "inescapable swaddle"]. He's just really strong and sleeps fine w/o it so we figured why bother?

my son can't sleep without being swaddled, he wakes himself up everytime, except at naps he sleeps on his stomach so he doesn't need it.

after about 2 weeks, we stopped swaddling during the day. we only swaddle at night. he sleeps so much better when he is swaddled.
