So I'm not goign to start on the babies room until we find out the sex in 2 weeks but I'm trying to start planning in my head haha.
So our house has all dark wood trim and beams so in the room that will be the babies room all of the trim around the doors and window and the doors them selves are all darker wood. We will probably be getting furniture that will match that trim as close as we can.
So the questions is, if I paint the walls like a light grayish color, do you think that would go with the darker wood? I want to do the walls in a light gray and then have the accents be shades of purple if its a girl or blue with some pops of a bright green if its a boy... does that sounds terrible? I"m really bad at the whole color thing haha
Re: paint question
I'm not sure I love the idea of natural wood trim and gray together. I just can't picture it looking super nice together.
Although we're painting our walls a light gray and plan on espresso furniture. So we'll be combining gray and dark brown wood. I guess it really depends on how dark your trim is.
Get the paint up on the walls, you dont like it.. You can always paint over it!
