Feeling baby somersault?

I've recently felt my baby kick and move, but also there is a strange sensation that reminds me of when you go over a small hill in a vehicle... kinda like your stomach did a flip flop.  Is this the baby doing a somersault or some kind of large motion?

    Hi! Yes - when the baby is still small enough it is a definite possibility you are feeling him / her sommersault. I was feeling what I thought were sommersaults forever and during the u/s we all watched him sommersault! So fun! Now that he's getting bigger, I am feeling waves in my stomach and actually seeing large waves in my stomach and the doctor says it is likely the baby shifting. Have fun - enjoy it!
