Bouncy Seat at 6 weeks?

Baby Elise will be 7 weeks this Sunday. She loves her swing. I was wondering if she would like a bouncy seat. What does your baby like? Before I make a purchase I just wanted to hear your thoughts...is she to young to like it?

We have one and DD is 6 weeks. She has just started tolerating it. I can put her in it as long as the vibration thing is turned on and I can do the dishes before she gets tired of it. We have the tiny turtle one from BRU. It is noisy with the vibration sound but I think that's part of the reason she likes it - for the white noise.

We have FP Rainforest and it's been one of our FAVORITE baby items with both kids. I don't know how you'd get by without one! Neither of our kids is crazy about the swing but we use the bouncy all the time.

We have the Fisher Price Precious Planet one, and DD loves it. I have a couple videos of her dancing in it in my blog

I would die with out LO's bouncy seat. We ahve the fisher price precious planet one and DD has loved it from day one.

I am back to work now and I made sure to buy one from target (it was a little cheaper, not the precious planet one) for my mom since she watches DD all day. Now my mom cant live without it!

Dominic hated his at first but grew to love it eventually. It took a couple of weeks of putting him in it.

We have the FP My Little Lamb one, and DS seems to be OK with it. I love it because I can take it into the bathroom and put him in it while I shower or get ready. Our swing is also a papasan style so it is not too much of a change.

We put DS in his turtle bouncer (from BRU I think) when he was just a week or two. He likes the vibrations. I think it's less than $30 too, which is a plus!

Neither of my kids has cared for the bouncy seat at all. I received one as a gift before DD1 and it has gotten very little use since neither if my girls has been a fan. It's all so child-dependent with these things, it's hard to say. What has worked for my girls early on is the swing, mobile and aquarium (on side of crib). Also, the playmat around 6 weeks.
