I just want to make sure our chosen name and spelling is not going to hit constant pitfalls of mipronounciation.

Same here. I'd start Amelia with "uh" and Emilia with "eh."

Same here. I'd start Amelia with "uh" and Emilia with "eh."

Same here. It was my great-grandma's name and I love it. I wish I could have gotten DH on board with it.

I would say Emma-lee-ah but that may be because I have an Emmalee (pronounced like Emily).

Thanks for everyone's replies. Sounds like she will do just fine. We actually pronounce it the same as Amelia but DH was afraid of her picking up the nick name of AMi and we preferred Emi.
