how long does it take a prenatal to be absorbed?

just wondering in case i throw up. i took it an hour ago, with lunch, so hopefully im good. i guess im gonna have to start taking these things right before bed, when im less nauseous.

  • Taking your prenatals before bed will keep your nausea and illness at bay. :)

  • I take mine right before bed too...I've never had an issue.
  • I also take mine before bed and haven't had any nausea at night, unless I wake up really hungry. I have always taken my vitamins at night though.

  • Play around with what time you take them at, and see if you can cut them half (not all pills can be).  When I was pregnant with DS the only way I could keep my prenatals down was cutting them in half and taking them at two different points in the day.  Also, ask your dr for samples and see if a different brand is easier on your tummy.

  • I take mine right before I got to bed, but before I take them I'll have a little snack. Like a yogurt or a bowl of cereal. I heard it helps. But they never made me feel nauseas.
