My MIL did the first two coats, bless her heart- I got semi gloss because it is easy to clean and it was SUCH a pain to paint, I did the third coat which finally did the trick, I also painted his little shelf... I am still contemplating what to do around his rocker... it looks so bare but I dont want to overdo it
