1st Internal today. Super nervous

I haven't been this nervous to go to the doctor since my very first GYN visit. I am like shaking nervous! 

Talk me down and tell me that it doesn't hurt. I've just got this idea in my head I can't get out!!!

    My annual gyno exam was far more painful than the internal exam I had yesterday. 
    Baby Boy Born 3.15.11. 8lb 9oz, 21.75in. 6 month stats: 20lb 11oz (92%tile), 30.12in.(100%tile - who knew it went over 99th? Which means 100% of other 6 month olds are shorter than mine!)

    It really doesn't hurt at all. Hopefully you'll get some good news and you're dilated and/or effaced! :)

    I don't think they hurt.  Just uncomfortable- as in pressure.  I've had 2 and neither were bad at all!

    I was terribly nervous also (no clue why lol) but it didnt hurt. It was more uncomfortable (like take your breath away for a sec), kinda like a regular pap exam.

    Mine was quick and easy. It literally took less than 30 seconds. Nothing to worry about honestly. And it didn't hurt.

    This. Also, all the concern over the GBS test and them swabbing your butt hole- no big deal. I honestly didn't even know she had done the test when she was done. Well, it's the same with my annual pap test so maybe I just have a really good dr, lol.

    Just some uncomfortableness.. nothing too bad! I had mine today and she said my cervix was so far back she could barely reach. Yikes! Still didnt hurt though. I always start giggling during mine because it is so awkward... I feel like a freak but whenever i get in an uncomfortable situation i laugh.. Oh well!!

    i was so nervous for mine to i was sweating sitting on the table waiting fro her to even come in the room haha. but it honestly isnt that bad. i thought it was going to be WAYY WAY worse.

    i mean dont get me wrong its definetly uncomfortable but it doesnt last that long.

    It was uncomfortable and a tad bit of pain.  But, my LO is really low and is making the pain - so the extra pressure never feels good for me.  Dilating from the inside out it super lame... that is what I am going through.

    I would say that I was more nervous about the spotting I had Tuesday night and all day yesterday after my internal.  I kept wishing it was my bloody show, but deep down I knew it was just from the internal... boo.
