I like "The Premature Baby Book" by Doctor Sears'.
It's been great while in the NICU. Lots of what is talked about around me is in that book in plain English. I've learned so much from it, and other things I've read, I nod my head in agreement.

I second the Dr. Sears book. Best preemie book I've read so far.
Also Preemies - The Essential Guide. Our hospital gave us this and I liked it a lot as a reference book. It's very medical. I'd read the Dr Sear book but keep this one on hand to look up stuff the drs tell you about.
