Just a little disappointed

I had plans to meet an old coworker (& close friend) for lunch today with DD.  We had to meet during her lunch hour.  I tried to leave in plenty of time but everytime I tried to leave something happened.  DD needed 3 diaper changes, yes three.  Then she screamed bloody murder in the car... too much to handle.  So I brought her back inside and fed her (she's been eating like a mad woman today... i think she's in a growth spurt).  Now it's too late for us to drive over there and meet her.  I'm so bummed.

    I remember going through this with dd too. It was like I had to get ready two hours before I had to leave Just yesterday we went to gymnastics and I spent all morning getting ready and then all of the sudden it was time to go and we were late! What the heck!?

    Story of my life since DD was born. I've always been the most punctual person, I always got to anything at least 15 minutes early, but now I can hardly get anywhere on time!

    Now that I've started pumping life will be a little easier I hope, so I can finish getting me ready while DH feeds her or something, but we'll see!

    PG#1 - 3rd cycle BFP. Team Green. HELLP syndrome @ 34 weeks.
    Later diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, possible link to HELLP.

    PG#2 M/C 3/14 - Surprise BFP 2/13. Beta's doubled every 52 hours from 3w5d-5w5d
    Viable pregnancy scan at 5w5d; 2nd u/s showed 2 days of growth in 7 but a HB of 120
    3rd u/s on 3/10/14 had no HB and baby had only grown 7 days over 14
    D&C 3/17/14 - complications - DX Retroflexed uterus, multiple tears to cervix
