If you want an adorable little monkey knit hat, it's all yours. I ordered one on etsy before Henry was born, and the seller got sick with pneumonia and took 12 weeks to get it to me (well after the newborn photo shoot, and in fact, it didn't even fit him anymore when I got it). So it's never been worn. It's adorable, and I love it, but I'm kind of bitter about the whole experience (I had to argue a lot with the seller to get a refund, but still got to keep it). I've been looking for someone to gift it to.

I can't wait to see your photos already! Our photog had a whole basket full of knitted hats in different sizes and shapes (with ears, no ears, etc.). I'm sure you want something specific but maybe your photog will have some, too?

Oh my goodness, you are SO sweet! I would actually love that BUT I will certainly want to pay you for the total cost you paid for it. Yay, thank you! I'm so sorry you had to go through that hassle. UGH! I'm going through a shipping hassle of some art prints I ordered through Etsy on 1/28/11 and still haven't received them. It's one excuse after another.

We didn't actually hire a photog. A friend of mine is starting to branch out her photography business and she offered to shoot newborn pics for me for an insane rate of $75 which includes edited images and everything. She has had a few shoots recently and I'm quite impressed on how amazing she is getting. I thought I would take her up on her offer now and wait to spend more $$$ on a photoshoot of the whole fam in the Fall so we can get a pretty outdoor shoot with our normal photographer. If you are interested, I can send you some of her pics she has done and send you her information

this is true. I ordered from here & was happy with the hat and quick shipping (though I did wish the yarn was a little softer...which I only realized the difference when I bought other hats from other vendors)

I recently bought a hat from this vendor https://www.etsy.com/shop/azek2000?section_id=6128221. I got this owl hat, https://www.etsy.com/listing/62457061/owl-hat-earflap-beanie-cap-girl-braided but in purple, green & gold for Mardi Gras. It really is super cute. they make them for boys too.

That would be great! My photographer is incredibly reasonable as well, but I'm just not sure I love her work.
