1 boob produces, the other doesn't - help!

1 seems to be the over achiever and the other dry =( i'm starting to pump that one ever few hours but am afraid it will never be as productive as the other. any1 else go thru this? did you get your supply back? thanks!

Completely dry or just less? It's normal for one breast to produce more than the other.

basically dry, a couple drops each 10 minutes of pumping

It's normal for one to be an "underachiever". Start your DC on that side first every time. And continue pumping that one after feeding sessions. It should help bring back some milk.

My sister's friend only nursed her daughter with one boob, so it is possible. I agree with mamajan, though. And you never get as much pumping as the baby does nursing.

lefty is my over achiever. I only pump 1 oz from my right when I get 2 1/2 from my left. I usually start DD off feeding on the right side.
