Who hasn't taken their GD test yet?

Just curious how many of us have not taken the 1 hour test yet? I feel like I will be so far along by the time I get it done it won't matter anymore lol. My next appointment with my OB is the 8th and at the appointment I will be given the paperwork. Then I have to go schedule it with the lab. So I will probably be almost 30 weeks if not 30 weeks when I take my test. Who else is in my boat?

    Mine isn't until next Friday, I will be 29 wks 6 days.  I'm not sure why they are waiting so long with me considering they had me take one at 9 wks because of my family history of diabetes.  If we were that worried about it at my first appointment, why are we waiting until almost 21 weeks later to check again?  I totally trust my OB I just think it's weird.

    Me. :(  Mine isn't until March 23.  I'll be 31 weeks and some change due to scheduling and my doctor being out of town.  The more I see my doc, the more I love him, but a few of the staff in there really need to pull it together.  I have the test, a growth ultrasound and a regular OB appointment all scheduled that morning.

    I haven't taken mine and ill be 28 weeks this fri, kinda concerns me why my m/w didn't give me a req for me to get it done while she was on vacay. Past 28 weeks seems a lil weird to have my Gd test when i hear it's done between 24-28 weeks.

    Im not too sure which one ill be doing because most doctors here in bc, canada are switching to the 2 hr one.

    And i dont drive so my husband has to drive me and i gotta see what day is best according to his schedule! ugh...

    Well it's good to know there are still others out there! Now if any of us want to make a post about our anxieties or passing or failing it we know who to address the post too! That way we don't annoy all the other bump ladies who are already "over" it! lol

    I took mine today at 29 wks, 2days.  My MW seems to be pretty relaxed about the timing of things and didn't seem concerned.

    I'm at 31 weeks and still haven't taken it. I had the one hour done at 11 wks. I passed it. I'm going to ask my Dr. if I will be taking another one.

    My Dr. hasn't even said anything about it yet.  I just saw him this week also so don't go back for another 2 weeks now.

    I take mine tomorrow morning. I am super excited ! lol. Luckily I don't have to fast, I was just told not to eat anything sweet in the morning so it looks like it is eggs for breakfast. yum!

    Mine is in the morning.  When they called to remind me today they said I could pick if I wanted the orange drink or the jelly beans.  I can't decide!

    Im taking mine tomorrow morning - but its my fault its gone this late.  Ill be nearly 29 weeks.  I got the paperwork to go to Quest Diagnostics for it 4 weeks ago, and could go whenever I felt like it after that, ive just been a combination of lazy and busy.  I don't think its the end of the world however, and I really really really am going to go tomorrow. Really.

    i had mine at 28w4d. but it probably wouldnt have mattered how late i took it, i failed so the results wouldve been a failure if i took at later than when i did.

    I am not even having a test done!  These are not done for everyone in Denmark, just those who show the symptoms.  Lucky me!?!?!

    I think in Germany they only do the 3 hour one if you want it to be done. Usually it isnt covered by your insurance. I had mine done last week and thank God I passed!

    I will be taking mine Friday.  Glad to know I'm not the only one that hasn't done it yet.  I was originally suppose to do it today but my doctor had to reschedule.  Looks like no breakfast for me in the morning!

    Mine's scheduled for March 12 (29w0d).  Originally I was going to do it on the 1st, but at my last appointment my OB suggested I wait so that I could go do the required HIV test as well.  Even though they did the HIV test at the beginning of the pregnancy, NJ law says we have to have it done again in the third tri, so my OB is saving me a second trip to the lab.

    Me! I don't have mine until next Thursday.  I am really looking forward to this appointment. It feels like forevers since I have been in!

    I have mine on the 18th and I will be about 30 weeks. I kept thinking - I wonder why the doctor hasn't mentioned this yet and boom - she did today during my appointment! Thought I would get away with not having it.

     

    And yes, I love your comment about us having this place to discuss it for those other May moms who are "over it" - hilarious! :) 

     

    Although it looks like many of us have not had it done yet.
