Hometown underneath avatar

How can I remove or edit my hometown that is currently underneath my avatar on message boards/posts?

    Thank you.  Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be where I need to change what is appearing.  The section your instructions took me to has my actual city listed but underneath my avatar lists my region ("Northwest Florida").  I'd like to remove that entirely and just have my state.

    I don't know where I would have done this before but it must be something that I identified as where I wanted people to think I lived.
