Enfamil Newborn vs. Enfamil Gentlease

Hey everyone--for those of you that use Enfamil Newborn, did any of you encounter a lot of gasiness and fussiness with your LO?  My pedi is having her switch to gentlease and wanted to know from those of you that use it, how do you like it?  TIA!

    Gentlease gave me a totally different baby. I like her much better now.

    We switched to Gentlease and I dont really see a difference, he still has gas.

    Gentlease was a lot thicker- it left a lot of residue on the sides of the bottle.  It was really hard for him to get it out of the nipple when he sucked.  I only used it for two days and then we switched back to Enfamil Newborn and added gas drops.

    We tried Gentlease and my LO cried nonstop while we were feeding him-acted like I was poisoining him (LOL), then I switched back to the Premium and he drank it happily right away- I think he just didn't like the taste of it.

    We had two gassy babies and also made the switch from Newborn to Gentlease.  I was hoping for more of a dramatic difference.  I still have to give them gas drops but I do think it has helped.  
    Miscarriage at 17 weeks. Our baby girl went to Heaven on 4.3.08. Miscarriage at 5 weeks in July 2008. Miscarriage at 4 weeks in June 2009. Delivered Baby #4 on 2.23.10. Our baby girl had Triploidy. TWIN BOYS BORN 12.20.10 Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

    I nursed my LO until 1 mo and he has been on Enfamil Newborn since. I haven't noticed any problems since switching to formula. He has gas every now and then but nothing bad where I would switch formula.

    Btw, there's a giveaway for a free case of enfamil newborn formula. You can enter every day. This would help out so much cause formula costs soooo much!

    This. We put Emma on this after she was born and she was such a happier baby so we didn't even go the similac route with Reid this time. We went straight to Gentleease and he is just happy! Also, FYI, Sams Club version is exactly the same and will save you a ton of cash. It is $20 for 48 oz
