Today's PIP post

Since the image

I went shopping.  I feel better, at least until the CC bill comes.  I found: image  image

image  and other assorted odds and ends, especially for the shower that is this weekend.

My image  tells me more shoes are in my future.

Dh is feeling badly about it all, so when we go buy image  this weekend, he said I could pick out two image

I'm going to get chickens one of these days, and stop just talking about it, so look out for the "OMG, Kristy, help, my chickens have the plague!" posts.

  • Wait you're getting a chick and a duck? You can be like Friends! (Sorry, I LOVE friends and can turn anything into a Friends reference) I love shopping and it makes me feel so much better.

  • love this (not the universe sucking part) but your description of it.

growing up my mom went to the auction (farmers) to get ducks for our pond in our yard, and came home with a puppy instead. so we named him Duxs (who knows why we spelled it like that). So be careful what catches your eye!!

You should get some chickens.  While they aren't my favorite fowl or anything, they do a great job of eating bugs and you can't buy eggs nearly as good as what you can raise, besides, if you buy organic eggs you spend a small fortune, it's much cheaper to raise your own and get the self satisfaction.
