Welcome to this week's Chicago Bump Check-in!

If you want to be added to the check-in, please respond to this post and let me know what brings you to the bump (Do you have a DC? DD or DS? Date of DC's birthday? Are you pregnant (how far along) or TTC?), whether you live in the city or burbs (give me a direction: N, NW, W, SW, S).

Also, pregnant ladies: keep me updated if you move from team green to pink or blue! And let us know when your LOs arrive! We have a due date that passed and some coming up soon!

I can't wait to be able to go outside for a run. I think I may look for stroller to jog along with. Anyone use one? Is it worth the investment?

spending time outside without needing to bundle up, driving and hanging out at home with windows open, the SUN! riding my bike (can you ride bikes when your pregnant? hmm...)

Going to the park, zoo, getting out for walks during the day. My puppy needs a ton of exercise so it will be nice to get out with her and the baby.

Going to the park! Oh, I cannot wait. On the last Friday of my maternity leave (September last year), I went on a walk with DS. We walked by a huge park by our house at around 3pm, and I saw tons of parents, still in their work clothes, playing with their kids at the playground. I cannot wait to leave work early on Fridays and take my little man to the park.

I have a BOB and love it - it's great for walks. That said, I think you need to wait a while before you can use it with your LO for jogging. I think they say not to jog with a LO in a jogging stroller until they are 6 months or so? So be certain to check!

And how ambitious are you, wanting to jog already!?! I'm impressed!

I'm looking forward to walks with DS and his best buddy, our boxer, going places on my to-do list such as the zoo and beach, and lastly not dealing with bulky coats and the car seat.

I am looking forward to getting outside with LO and seeing his expression with the spring weather. Plus I can't wait to get rid of cabin fever to go for walks.

Good question! I am really looking forward to spring this year! I can't wait to see DD walk outside on the sidewalk! And going for lots and lots of walks! And, going to the park near our house! And, hanging the swing we got her for Christmas up in the tree in our backyard! And....Lol!

I am ready for some nice weather, if you can't tell!

I really need to get better at answering my own question sooner!

Going for walks on a daily basis, bike rides and talking DD to the park for the first time. Also, going to the area farmers markets - with gas prices this year, we may be riding our bikes there! Going to the zoo for the first time as well. And, not having to wear heavy coats, hats and gloves for a few months!!

I am LOVING this slightly warmer weather, and I am enjoying doing more 'fun' cycling. We cycle year round, so of course I had to make the necessary grocery and Target trips the past few months, but now I'm cycling for fun with DD and loving it so much. It makes me remember how much I love it

I would love to join you guys! I usually post on the Nov. 2010 board and the 24+ board as well.

DD (Samantha) is 2 1/2 and was born on 6/6/08. DS (Zachary) is 4 months (tomorrow) and was born on 11/6/10. We live in the western burbs.

QOTW--Can't wait to go on walks! Having a newborn in the fall/winter is hard! I can't wait to get out of the house in general!
