Quick background: Resigned from my job in Virginia in August to move out to Cali so I could actually live with my DH. We lived apart for about 9 months last year due to his being underway and then the Navy keeping him in San Diego. We were breaking even with my working FT there since we were paying two rents and all that. Made more sense to be together if you KWIM.
I just got a call for a job interview on Monday! Its just a PT gig at Marshalls, but I seriously don't care at this point. We get by on DHs paycheck, but the extra $$ will always be handy with a kid on the way. Plus it keeps me busier and I'll actually have a paycheck again. This is my first notable amount of time with no income since I was, I don't know, 16 (I'm 34 now).
Now to figure out what to wear. My wardrobe doesn't exactly fit like it used to these days...
ETA: I asked this question in a later response, but figured I'd tack it in the OP since sometimes people don't read a whole thread.
Million $$ Question that you all probably saw coming: How would you handle telling them about the pregnancy?

I looked up which position I applied for (I turned in like 10 apps that day to 10 different Marshalls, lol). Merchandise Associate. Reading the description I'd basically be a jack-of-all-trades (merchandise presentation, cashiering, customer service, fitting room). I can totally do that. Have done all but the fitting room in jobs in the past even.
Honestly, just getting a nibble on a job is a HUGE ego boost. The job market is atrocious here. I've got a good employment history (college degree, 10 yrs experience in my field) and this is the first lead I've had since I've gotten out here.

I'm obviously not going to volunteer it at an interview, and I know they can't ask. Its more the question of if an offer comes. Would you tell when an offer is presented? Or would you wait until you get to the end of 1st Tri?
