Every little milestone counts!

Samuel has started wearing clothes full time. The nurses would dress him occasionally during the night to take pictures for my DH and I, but when we got there today, he had his little footed pjs on. I just wanted to snuggle right up to him. He looks like a bigger baby now and not just a micro preemie. Those leads and tubes are for the most part covered up and he looks like an alert and happy baby. We know the happy smiles are really just flukes, probably caused by gas, but we still call them smiles!

He out grew his two micro preemie outfits. That was quick! He wore them each once.

    He gained 2 more ounces last night. They said he hit a growth spurt, since he fusses about an hour before his schedule feeding. I have to celebrate all these little steps forward so that the steps back don't seem as bad.

    That is great news.  I loved putting Ella in clothes.  We had a rediculous amount of preemie clothes.  The nurses and I loved picking her outfits out and matching her blankets!
