Has anyone tested negative 2-3 days before missed period and then positive after?

I am just anxious to test and took one this morning, it was negative. My period is due Friday, so I was just wondering if anyone had tested negative and then after missed period positive.

I dont notice any symptoms but I had some mild cramping all last week which I dont have this week. Thats about it.

It is possible since the longer you wait, the more HCG will be in your system if you are pregnant.

Do you chart and temp? You may have just ovulated late and it's throwing your AF off...I think that's what happened to me this cycle too.

If you're not charting, you really don't know when you O'd...therfore you may not even be late.

I did. When I tested the day AF was supposed to come, I got the positive. This time, I want to wait as long as possible.

I know some people who have not gotten positives until a couple days after AF was due with negatives every day before. You're not out yet!

With LO #1 I tested like crazy (like twice in one day sometimes) because I was feeling all the preg symptoms but kept getting BFN. One day at work, we were outside all day and I didn't get the chance to pee for what must have been almost 8-9 hours. I dont think I drank much water either so I was probably pretty dehydrated. At that point I had pretty much given up and figured it was just a symptom of comming off of BC, but decided to test one last time and got a BFP!

I must have had an off cycle or miscalculated something along the way. Not advocating dehydrating yourself or holding pee untill you get a bladder infection, but waiting a little longer might help.

Yes I took a HPT and a blood test with my second and they were negative. Then the day off my AF I took one more, because I had a feeling and got a faint BFP so I bought a digital that same day and got my BFP! GL to you

Thanks Everyone! I just went to the fertility friend site and am a new member...lol

I was not "officially" doing the charting temp process but would do temp readings on a regular just to monitor.

I am going to try really hard not to allow myself to test until Sunday...Hopefully I'll be late!

It's possible from what I've read. So, keep your fingers crossed and try to be patient and wait until your past due for your AF.
