Reposting from 1st Trimester - Any similar situations?

so my LMP was 1/12/11, however, I didn't get my BFP until Feb 19.  I wasn't charting, but used CM to estimate ovulation around 2or 3 of February.  Today, I was having cramps and lower back pain (no bleeding), so my OB had me come in to do an ultrasound.  She saw a sac, but no baby.  She said since my periods are long, I just might not be as far along as we thought.  So instead of being 7 weeks today, I would be 5 weeks and 5 days.  According to the Ultrasound, I was measuring 6 weeks.  I am going back next Wednesday for another ultrasound and hopefully will see a baby.  Did this happen to anyone else?  How did it turn out?  When is the earliest you can see the baby on a vaginal ultrasound?

    I had a whole lot of cramping for the first few weeks. I thought it just couldn't be normal but my doctor said as long as there was no bleeding it was ok.They did not do an ultrasound then though.

    We had a vaginal ultrasound at 6weeks 3days and saw the baby. I too had lots of cramping (and even 10 hours of spotting) in the early weeks. Doctor said not to worry about it unless the bleeding got worse, etc. Everything's still healthy! Good luck to you! :)
